Journey Within the Heart (2025)

Would you choose to take a longer, winding road to enjoy beautiful scenery, or a straight, fast, but uninteresting path that gets you to your destination quickly?
While traveling in Sweden, I noticed an interesting phenomenon: some road signs feature a flower, indicating that the route may be a bit longer but offers many beautiful sights along the way; another route is fast and direct, allowing you to reach your destination quickly. I feel that this choice of roads is much like the decisions we make in life: the longer path may take more time, but the scenery and experiences along the way can be richer and more memorable. I use the “house” as a symbol of the starting point, representing home; the “ribbon” symbolizes the road of life—winding and full of possibilities. At the end of 2023, I set off alone in Europe, to a place where no one knew me, using Ireland as my base for over a year.
During this time, I visited many different European countries and had the opportunity to meet artists from various fields, whether through work or travel.
These encounters not only broadened my perspective but also sparked my imagination and creativity in art. For me, traveling alone has been a precious experience of growth. I cherish the solitude of the journey and the insights gained from each experience. I transform everything I encounter along the way into inspiration for my creations, expressing the world as I feel it in my heart.
